About this demo

Learning Quest is the app concept from the Erasmus+ project IBLITTO: blended learning for industrial mechanic apprentices, with a short digital challenge every day, a safety check at the machine and an overview for the trainer.

This demo shows one apprentice's day with one module, turning, so the concept can be tried out and discussed.

Simulated in this demo

  • The apprentice and the other apprentices are fictional.
  • The QR scan is a button. A printed code can open the safety check page.
  • The trainer confirms on the same device.
  • Everything is stored only in this browser. Nothing is sent anywhere.

Sources and subject review

  • The machine card is based on the lathe instruction at Raufoss upper secondary school (Raufoss vgs).
  • A head of department for technology and industrial subjects at Raufoss vgs reviewed the demo in October 2026.
  • The spindle speeds are being checked and may change.
  • The task suits Vg1–Vg2 (Norwegian upper secondary). For apprentices it should be harder, for example with a tighter tolerance or more operations.

The content is a draft. The Norwegian text has been reviewed by a teacher, but the spindle speeds and the German text are not yet final.

This check supports, but does not replace, the safety training from your trainer.
